Gerald Faldyn

CEO
Gerald has been working in senior care Development and Management since 2008, with hands-on experience as Owner and Operator for 2 memory care facilities in Austin, Texas. He entered this field after working for 13 years in Real Estate Development and Sales. Prior to that, Gerald spent 18 years as an Engineer in Automation and Business Development. This experience inspired him to enhance the level of care at each CelesteCare facility by integrating the most advanced technology solutions. Currently, Gerald is a Managing Partner of Lifeline Ventures, LLC, and Co-Owner of A&G Land Management.

Susan Faldyn

President
Susan is certified in Senior Care Administration and is also a partner at Lifeline Ventures, LLC. She personally experienced the challenges of caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s. Using that insight, she worked in the industry for 7 years as a Co-Owner and Operator for 2 senior care facilities in Austin, Texas. Susan provides significant expertise in marketing and operations. Her specialty is strategically developing activities that keep residents entertained and engaged while making a positive impact on their physical and mental health. Susan also works closely with residents’ families as coordinator of the CelesteSupport groups.

Rene Zandi

Regional Director of Operations and Marketing
Rene Zandi is Regional Director of Operations and Marketing and started with CelesteCare in 2018.

Her experience extends over the past 17 years in the Management of Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities including the start-up operations and opening of two free standing Memory Care units in Austin, Texas.

She is certified as an Assisted Living Manager in the state of Texas and previous Administrators license in the State of Alabama as well as received certificates and awards in Marketing and Sales.

Rene’s volunteer time has been spent with such organizations as Alzheimer’s Association, State planning committees for Alzheimer’s and Fundraising events to benefit the senior population.

Her passion was found while working with seniors through marketing for an Assisted Living in San Antonio and involvement with the Alzheimers’s Association. She has served on various boards and committees throughout her career. She believes that through her direction, we serve as advocates to our seniors on a daily basis.

She attended University of Texas at San Antonio prior to pursuing her career in Banking, Real Estate, Area Agency on Aging of the Capital area, and over 17 years in the healthcare field.

Rene expresses compassion in continuing her love for seniors through the various programs and Regional Operations and Marketing duties that CelesteCare offers to all those in need. She is excited to share her knowledge, skills and compassion and help develop the culture of CelesteCare for future projects to ensure that residents, families and resources receive the quality of care they deserve.

Terri Wilkes

Marketing Director
Terri has been the Marketing Director for CelesteCare since 2016.

She is a seasoned health care professional with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, operations management, training and human resources for home health, hospice, assisted living and senior living programs. Terri has worked as an Administrator and Director of Patient Care for a Home Care/Living Assistance Agency, a Branch Manager and Administrator for a Home Health Agency, a Marketing Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility, and a Hospice Specialist for a local Hospice Agency.

Terri has always enjoyed helping people and being a trusted resource for others in need. Known for her professional commitment, personal character and integrity, she has a real passion for working with senior citizens and their families. Terri has always loved spending time with senior citizens.

Terri worked as a caregiver 30 years ago and has continued to enjoy working in the healthcare field. She believes that the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service through well-developed, motivated, and tenured employee teams creates the best caregiving environment.

Terri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. She is a native Texan and has lived in the Highland Lakes area for 30 years. Terri has been married for 29 years and loves spending time with her husband and their 2 children.
